Itinerary

Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON

Upon your arrival in Aswan, our English-speaking representative will warmly welcome you and provide a private, air-conditioned van transfer to your luxurious Nile cruise ship. You should check in before 12:00 PM. Your journey begins with a delightful lunch onboard. Post-lunch, you'll embark on a tour to the High Dam, constructed under the leadership of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD as a flood control project. Following this, enjoy a motorboat sail on the Nile to the Temple of Philae, a Graeco-Roman era structure dedicated to the goddess Isis. Your tour also includes a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, a red granite monument intended for Amun Ra. After the tour, you'll return to your ship. The evening in Aswan is yours to enjoy at your leisure. [L-D]

Day 2: Kom Ombo - Edfu & ON

Enjoy a delightful breakfast aboard your ship. Following breakfast, you'll accompany your Egyptologist guide to explore the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. After your visit, return to the ship to savor lunch on the sun deck, taking in the breathtaking views of the Nile's unique landscape. In the afternoon, experience a thrilling chariot ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned for being one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Post-tour, you'll head back to your ship for a relaxing afternoon. Dinner will be served onboard. In the evening, immerse yourself in the local culture with an Egyptian Folkloric Show presented by the ship's crew.

Day 3: Luxor West Bank - Luxor ON

Start your day with a delightful breakfast on your Nile cruise. Then, embark on an enchanting tour of Thebes, the revered land, by exploring Luxor's west bank. Your journey begins at the Valley of the Kings, the esteemed royal burial ground of Theban monarchs and rulers of ancient Egypt. Next, you'll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an architectural marvel carved directly into the mountain, showcasing the grandeur of ancient Egyptian construction. The tour concludes with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, majestic statues belonging to King Amenhotep III. Following the tour, return to your ship for lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. You'll spend the evening dining and overnight on the cruise.

Day 4: Check Out - Luxor East Bank

After breakfast, with check-out scheduled for 08:00 AM, you'll embark on an exciting tour of Luxor's East Bank. This includes a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temples Complex, renowned as the largest religious building ever constructed, covering an extensive area. Your memorable tour concludes at the Temple of Luxor, initiated by a 12th-dynasty king and completed by the famed King Ramses II. Upon completing your day's exploration, a private air-conditioned van will transport you to your designated location in Luxor, marking the end of our services.

Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON

Upon your arrival at Luxor airport or station, our representative will greet you and provide a private air-conditioned van transfer to your Nile Cruise, with embarkation scheduled before noon. In the afternoon, embark on a journey to explore Luxor's East Bank, starting with the awe-inspiring Karnak Temples Complex. These temples are the most colossal structures ever constructed in human history, with the main edifice dedicated to the god Amun Ra. The earliest parts of this complex date back to the Middle Kingdom, with some elements possibly as old as the 3rd dynasty.

Your exploration continues to the Temple of Luxor, initiated by a 12th dynasty king and completed by the renowned King Ramses II. This temple, situated at the core of ancient Thebes, was dedicated to the chief god Amun Re, much like Karnak.

After this insightful visit, return to your ship and relax on the sun deck, taking in the stunning views of the Nile and the landscapes that cradled ancient Egyptian civilization.

As you sail towards Aswan, dinner will be served on board. You'll arrive in Aswan late in the evening, where you'll spend the night.

Day 4: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON

Start your day with a nourishing breakfast on board your ship. Later, you'll be accompanied by your Egyptologist guide to explore the wonders of Aswan. Your tour begins with a visit to The High Dam, an impressive structure built in 1960 AD under President Gamal Abdel Nasser, designed to protect Egypt from the floods of the Nile.

Next, embark on a scenic motorboat ride on the Nile River to Agilika Island. Here, you'll visit the Temple of Philae, a majestic structure from the Greco-Roman period, dedicated to the goddess Isis, revered as the mother of the god Horus.

Your journey in Aswan continues with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, an awe-inspiring monument carved from red granite and intended to honor the god Amun Ra. After exploring these historical marvels, you'll return to your ship.

Day 5: Disembarkation from cruise - Departure to Cairo

After enjoying breakfast, it's time to check out. Our representative will then escort you to Aswan airport or station for your flight to Cairo. (Breakfast included)

Optional Tour: Should you choose, an excursion to the magnificent Abu Simbel temples is available, either by private coach or domestic flight. In Aswan, our English-speaking guide will meet you and provide a comfortable, air-conditioned van transfer to Abu Simbel. Located 180 miles south of the First Cataract on the Nile's western bank, this ancient site, known historically as Meha, was first recorded in the 18th Dynasty.

Upon arrival at Abu Simbel, you'll explore the awe-inspiring temples built by the renowned King Ramses II. The larger, known as the Great Temple, is dedicated to the god Rahorakhty. The smaller temple celebrates King Ramses II and his beloved queen, Nefertari.

After your tour, you'll return to Aswan. From there, you can either check into your chosen hotel for some rest or be transferred to Aswan airport to catch your domestic flight to Cairo.
